The necklace is exquisitely beautiful, to see and more beautiful to wear as most of Haskells pieces are. See description and condition of this piece below. MIRIAM HASKELL: Faux Champagne Glass Pearls Green Côtelé & Coral Glass Beads Gold Gilt Brass AB Rondelle & Accents Necklace. MIRIAM HASKELL A single strand/string necklace of champagne colored spherical glass pearls. The faux pearls are accentuated by small gold gilt corrugated brass beads, emerald green côtelé poured glass beads, faux coral colored glass rondelle and sparkly AB crystal brass rondelle. The faux pearls, beads and rondelle all measure approximately 8mm in diameter. The small corrugated brass and spacer beads are approximately 2mm and 0.5mm each respectively. The necklace fastens with a decorated round floral designed box clasp and push tongue latch. The box clasp is signed MIRIAM HASKELL. The necklace is fairly heavy and weighs approximately 47.20 grams. 25L when fastened: All measurements are approximate. Please note this is pre-owned 1940-50's vintage jewelry and the necklace has been gently worn. The nacre of the glass pearls are overall well preserved with a beautiful sheen with flea size nicks on only one or two pearls and which are noticeable only on magnification and close examination. There is no noticeable peeling or stripping of the nacre and the luster of the pearls is a beautiful champagne sheen, in sunlight it looks slightly gold in colored. The green côtelé glass beads are well preserved with no noticeable cracks or chips. The gold gilt brass accents and fittings of the necklace has minimal tarnished and spots of wear. There are small spots of patina and wear on the top and under sides of the box clasp. The faux coral glass rondelle, AB brass rondelle, and corrugated brass beads are all in good condition, no chips, bruises, cracks or damage. Please note that it is the nature of brass to tarnish, hence, the brass parts have a warm Russian Gold hue which adds to the vintage charm of this beautiful necklace.

There is no stretching or fraying of the treading in the necklace. Structurally, the necklace is in fairly well preserved vintage condition with minor flaws mentioned above.

These are part of my personal collection of vintage costume jewelry by Miriam Haskell. It has been in storage for years and may need a small amount of cleaning. Most of my Haskell pieces have been gently worn, a few are unworn. Most of the items I sell are vintage, and/or they are pre-owned, most are not new. Colors may differ slightly in computers.
