The nacre of the glass pearls are overall well preserved with a beautiful champagne colored sheen in sunlight. There are no nicks, stripping or peeling of the nacre. The faux coral rondelle beads and green côtelé.
Art glass beads are well preserved with no noticeable cracks or chips. The gold gilt brass rondelle, and other accents such as the signature tag and fittings of the necklace have minimal tarnished and spots of wear. Some of the brass bead caps and seed beads are tarnished and have spots of patina, but most are shiny and clean. Please note that it is the nature of brass to tarnish, hence, the brass parts have a warm Russian Gold hue which adds to the vintage charm of this beautiful necklace.
The threading is slightly stretched, but there is no fraying. The stretched areas hardly shows. Structurally, the necklace is in fairly well preserved vintage condition with minor flaws as mentioned above.
