Presenting an exceptionally fine and rare antique hand carved natural coral bead necklace. This exceptional example has been crafted from beautifully coloured natural coral.

The carved beads are all of a similar size and have been wonderfully carved with Chinese symbols. This exceptionally impressive necklace is composed of 38 individual finely carved beads gently graduating in size from 13.6mms to 12mms in diameter. The 38 carved beads are divided into five groups of six beads, each seperated by two uncarved round coral beads flanking a central 14k gold ball bead. Four carved coral beads to each end complete this exquisite piece.

These exceptional beads have been threaded onto a double strand of cotton and secured with a 14k gold fish hook clasp with ornate detailing and remaining in fine working order. This stunning strand is presented in magnificent antique condition. There are some slight indents to the 14k gold separate beads. The carved coral beads cannot be faulted.

This piece is of the finest quality and presents spectacularly. We have chosen not to clean these exquisite beads, preferring to leave the new owner to do so in their preffered manner and allowing the patina to beautifully authenticating this well cared for antique strand.

This exceptionally impressive necklace measures approx 64cms or 25 inches in length and weighs just over 106 grams.
