Antique Hand Cut Natural Red Salmon Coral Graduated Bead Necklace
Natural Un-dyed Red Salmon Hand Carved Coral Bead Necklace. Graduated Red Salmon Coral bead necklace. Constructed of round hand carved beads of natural untreated antique coral. A beautiful example of these early red salmon corals that is hand-knotted between each coral. The silk separator serves to stop beads rubbing, gives better hang and flow, and most importantly, stops you from losing your precious coral in the event of breakage. Each bead has been expertly and. Cleaned before being restrung on waxed silk.
The coral beads are attached via professional french wire to an antique push-in barrel clasp. Tests as 9ct, but is unmarked as many of this era were (so please consider this may be heavy GF).
The coral markings are good and clear under a. Loupe with natural flaws and light age-related wear, as can seen in the large images. Please note that all necklaces of this age either have been restrung, or will need re-threading prior to wear.
