Antique Natural Angel Skin Coral & Rock Crystal Bead Necklace. Description: Antique Natural Angel Skin Coral & Crystal Bead Necklace w/ Silver Filigree Clasp, Early 20th C. Finely crafted, the necklace comprised of 50 graduated coral beads of a peachy-cream tone shading to pink/blush; the coral beads alternating with faceted crystal rondelles, likely clear rock crystal. The string knotted on silk and secured with a fine navette shaped silver filigree clasp, each edge stamped "STERLING" and "A" (possibly the makers mark). The coral beads graduate from 6.5mm to 17mm. Dimensions: String of Beads (excluding clasp): 21 long (53.5cm). Coral Beads: 0.25" to 0.67" diameter (6.5mm to 17mm). Overall, the necklace is in good condition with appropriate signs of age.

The necklace appears to have been re-strung as five of the crystal beads along one end do not match the faceted rondelles and appear to be later (glass) replacements with small chips/nicks along the edges; the same end with one additional coral bead flanking the clasp (this evens out the strand). All major flaws are noted in the condition report above; however, as each of our items is unique and with a history of its own, there may be minor flaws and signs of age from years of handing which are not mentioned. Please review all images carefully for an accurate depiction of the condition. All items subject to availability.
