Up for your consideration is this OUTSTANDING antique Georgian coral necklace! It is made up of a graduated strand of RICH SALMON colored natural Mediterranean coral beads. These beads are carved in the nesting "bone" shape, the ends of which are beautifully and expertly carved. This is a very rare and seldom seen shape for coral beads, and these beads are all hand cut.

They graduate from approximately 5mm X 9mm, up to 8mm X 14.5mm at the largest bead! The color of this coral is very saturated, and is 100% natural and not treated in any way. These beads have a lovely surface! These coral beads are of the very highest quality. This necklace is finished with a solid 18K yellow gold repousse worked ornate clasp, and measures approximately 18 long in overall wearable length.

The clasp measures 21mm long, by 9mm wide, and 7mm thick. This necklace weighs a total of 51.4 grams on my digital scale, and is in EXCEPTIONAL antique condition! The clasp is not hallmarked (typical of genuine Georgian jewelry), but tests positive for solid 18K gold and is guaranteed as such.
