Natural Un-dyed Hand Carved Coral Two-Tier Bead Necklace. A beautifuly romantic necklace of early.

Onstructed of two rows of graduated round hand carved beads of natural untreated antique coral - charmingly imperfect spheres, as antique hand-cut should be! This double-row necklace has been sympathetically cleaned before being restrung in the traditional way, on waxed silk. The coral beads are attached via professional french wire to jump rings and large stunning art-deco fine silver marcasite set fish hook clasp. The angel skin blush corals are hand-knotted between each bead. The silk separator serves to stop beads rubbing, gives better hang and flow, and most importantly, stops you from losing your precious corals in the event of breakage. The markings in the coral are good and clear with natural flaws and light age-related wear, as seen in the large images. Please note that necklaces of this age either have been restrung, or will probably need re-threading prior to wear. Please see other items for similar pieces from my personal collection.
