Massive Natural Pink Angel Skin Coral Branch Nugget 3 Strand Necklace 14k Gold

  

Up for your consideration is this MASSIVE vintage Hawaiian coral necklace! It consists of three graduated strands of very large angel skin coral branch/nugget beads. The color of this coral is a beautiful mix of shades pink with some creamy white, and is 100% natural.

The beads are individually hand knotted on pink cord with smaller round coral beads as spacers between the carved beads. The beads graduate from approximately 20mm X 9mm at the smallest, up to 49mm X 14mm thick at the largest bead. The coral is Hawaiian in origin, but these beads were likely made in China or Hong Kong. This necklace is finished with a 14k solid yellow gold box clasp that is in the form of a Chinese character.

The clasp is marked 14K 585 on the tongue and has a safely latch. This necklace measures approximately 22 3/4 long in overall wearable length (measured at the shortest strand), and weighs a whopping 326 grams on my digital scale.

The longest strand measures approximately 28 1/2 long. This necklace is in overall EXCEPTIONAL condition! There are hairlines present in some beads which is common with this type of coral, but these are very minor and not at all distracting.
