Large Bead Red Coral Necklace with Antique Silver Dog Clip Clasp Bamboo Coral 17. An impressive statement necklace consisting of 38 large red coral beads strung on red silk thread, with closure by means of an antique silver dog clip and loop.

The coral beads show good natural variation, with the coral structure visible in places. The diameter of the beads ranges from 10mm to 27mm on the largest bead, and they range in length between 7mm and 20mm. This is a heavy and impressive piece, weighing in at 175g, and as such needs a heavy-duty closure. The necklace is fitted with a sturdy antique silver dog clip of the type used on Albert chains, which clips securely onto the silver loop at the other end. The dog clip is stamped S.
